今まで若干食わず嫌い的なところがあったけど。
merveilles-cinq parallele-思わず最後まで見とれてしまった。なにこれ。すごいじゃん、これ。その、独特の世界が。
5曲収録されていて、それぞれ違った感じだったけど、どの曲にも共通して現れる「音」があって、なんだろうこれは、と。なんていうか、どことなく懐かしい音。「中世ヨーロッパ」とか「洋館」などといった単語がしっくりくるイメージ。ああ、アレだ。「ゴシック」。メンバーもそんないでたちをしているし、MALICE MIZERの世界観はその辺にあるのかも。たぶんこのバンド名はフランス語だから、それこそマリー・アントワネットとかその辺の。
音が、深い。その辺のいわゆるヴィジュアル系はただジャカジャカ鳴らして叫んでるだけのうるさい連中ばかりだけど、MALICE MIZERは本格的に音作りをしてるな、とすぐ感じた。クラシックなテイストも織り交ぜつつ。そうか、ピアノやヴァイオリンの音が入ってくるところが他のV系バンド群と違うところか。
『月下の夜想曲』が特によかった。CD入手していろいろ聴いてみよう。カラオケでも歌ってみたいもんだ。
今ふと公式サイト『miroir』を見てみたら、このバンドって結構歴史長いのね。2001年に活動休止してるけど、結成は1992年。全然知らなかった。その中でもメンバーチェンジが何度も起こっていたり、ドラマーが急逝したり・・・なかなか波乱万丈。ヴォーカルは2回変わっていて、このビデオは2代目であるGacktの頃のもの。初代TETSU、3代目Klahaの頃のも気になるけど、まずはGacktがいた頃の「2期マリス」のCDを探してみよう。

This is perfect. Its made with nice strong damascus steel. They didn't over do it on the oil they put on the blade its not to heavy, and its well balanced. Its a high quality sword for an affordable price.

i love this blade it came sharp and ready to cut the look the the sword is beautiful im really happy with it the only thing is it saying united cutlery on the blade butt other then that is nice
